There is a place in Dayton, OH that usually hasall kinds of ammo
556 was 150.00 per 500 in a .30cal ammo can
I carry a .40 S&W (Glack 22C and Beretta PX4 Storm, it depends on which one is more fashionable that day, the glock or the beretta.
The hollow points I have loaded in them are $1.03 per round

Seems like the 40s are VERY resonable. I might have to get one. that's what the cops use now. My Stepson is a Sherriff's Deputy. That's what he carries.

Bluesjoc: What I have on order ,that is backordered, at 2 different suppliers Was 300 rounds or more. Very reasonable. Walmart only had abot 20 boxes of 20 rounds for about $19 buck a box.

Be advised that the Marine Corps is currently testing firearms to replace the SAW. They are also starting to look at going back to larger caliber round like the 7.72 x 51 and well as the .40 or .45. Ooooohhhh....Raaahhhh...! Semper Fi...!
